Cotton price note for summer bookings
Yarn bookings for June cutting need a decision this month if the price is to stay inside the costing.
Local mills are asking buyers to lock yarn earlier than last year. Cards and combed cotton for 160–180 GSM jersey moved first.
We are advising brands to approve lab dips before the yarn booking, then freeze the shade lot.
Programs that can accept a mill-stock shade will ship with less risk.
